Our Banjo pickups are loved by Deering Banjos, Ome Banjos and countless pro players the world over. The pickup mounts to the underside of the head right below the bridge and is so thin and lightweight that it does not effect the natural tone at all. The sound is full ranged, dynamic and incredibly feedback proof. Our pickups are removable should the head ever need to be changed. 

Open Back Banjo pickups come standard with adhesive backed clips that attach the jack to the dowel / rod inside the Banjo, or an awesome Sylvan lightweight machined aluminum mounting bracket can be added. Standard wire length is 5″, but custom lengths can be accommodated.

Resonator Banjo Pickups come standard with adhesive backed clips that attach the jack to the rim of the Banjo or an awesome Sylvan lightweight machined aluminum mounting bracket can be added. Standard wire length is 11″, but custom lengths can be accommodated.

Our pickups are passive and a preamp with a high impedance input is required. Our pickups are compatible with most acoustic preamps on the market and we offer a variety of onboard and offboard preamps that can be viewed in detail on our Preamps page and also selected in product options.

All of our products are built to order. Our build time is generally 3-5 business days, however, we are usually able to accommodate rush orders.
